Nature is a place of many things. A place for healing and renewal. For solace and adventure. For inspiration and delight. A place where you can escape stress, fear or unhappiness and welcome peace, strength and restoration. From the pathless woods to the lonely shores, nature reminds us that nothing stays the same for long, that nothing is useless and that everything is connected. Ever since I bought my first D-SLR camera in 2011, I've been captivated by photography and immersed in learning the art of traveling deep into the wild and capturing through a lens the relentless beauty and diversity nature has to offer. Although far from professional, I have set out not only to capture and share with you nature's grace but to also shoot photos that portray ecological challenges, facts and solutions to use throughout Everything Connects with accommodating text and links. When I started my adventure in photography, I began to truly take notice of the world around me like never before, to hear sounds of life I would usually ignore and to open up my eyes, mind and spirit to a world I have been largely blind to for far too long. I shoot for the simple, yet important purpose of inspiring a stronger connection between people and nature and to use my photos in empowering, educational ways. I hope my photos bring you closer to nature and her to you. Enjoy!
"We cannot win this battle to save species and environments without forging an emotional bond between ourselves and nature as well - for we will not fight to save what we do not love." ~Stephen Jay Gould
